Descenders Coming To Switch 2, Switch 1 Version Gets Missing Maps
No More Robots and Rage Squid have announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Descenders. The two sides did not share a launch date.
Descenders previously came out on Nintendo Switch a few years ago. No More Robots is still working on that version, and today's announcement also said that players on Switch will soon be able to access maps that have been missing.
Descenders is an extreme downhill biking game from the developers of Action Henk. Its worlds are procedurally generated, so every run gives you different jumps, slopes and hillbombs. The freestyle controls let you handle each movement of your rider, and each run earns special mutators that change how you ride.
The game also has an online Rep system, where you can earn new bikes and threads. You pick a team, Enemy, Arboreal or Kinetic, and team members share exclusive gear and prizes, with the top team earning the most Rep. The soundtrack is licensed from drum and bass label Liquicity. When there is more news about the Switch 2 version, we'll let you know.
