Editorial standards
What we publish
Nintendo news: Switch 2 and Switch games, updates and release dates. Posts are short and stick to what is known.
Getting it right
Game names, numbers and dates are written exactly as announced. A release date counts once Nintendo or the publisher has given it. If an announcement changes, we change the post.
Rumours
Anything not confirmed is labelled as a rumour or a report, right in the text. We never present it as fact, and we do not run rumours about private people.
Where our news comes from
Official announcements, statements from publishers and developers, store listings and public reports.
Who decides what we cover
Our editor, who is responsible for everything on the site and can change or remove any post. Nobody pays us for coverage, not Nintendo and not game publishers. Ads, if there are any, have no say in what we write. We do not run reviews, paid posts or giveaways.
Spotted a mistake?
Email hello@nintendoscoop.com with the link to the post and what is wrong. We fix the post, and when the change is a big one we add a note to it.
Pictures
Every picture is credited under the image. Game names, characters and logos belong to their owners.
