Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited Coming To Switch 2 And Switch Worldwide
Idea Factory and Compile Heart have announced a worldwide launch for Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.
The game debuted in Japan this past August, and this is the next canonical entry in the franchise. Western players will get it in 2027.
The story begins after the first asteroid strikes. Only the Goddess Neptune is left in a white void, where she finds numbers etched on her cheek. Those numbers mark her new challenge against Doomsday, and she starts a loop of endings and beginnings as she meets new allies and enemies.
The game adds flight, so Goddesses can switch from running to flying and explore waterways, rooftops and other crevices. In battle they can also take to the air in their Goddess Forms to attack from above, with new EXE Drive animations, a reworked combo system and large world bosses.
Customisation goes further this time. You can change character colours, attach accessories and adjust their size, position and colour, and you can strengthen Processor Unit equipment found in dungeons. The classic Disc Make returns for crafting new abilities. Tsunako, the franchise's illustrator, is back with new artwork and newly designed Goddesses. SECTION: Western Announcement Trailer
An official trailer for the Western release is available on the official channels. The release date for the West has not been announced yet, and we'll report it when it is.
