Nintendo Hints Switch 2 Will Keep Getting Classic Remakes

Remakes of older classics are a cheaper way for Nintendo to bring in sales alongside brand-new releases, and Bihldorff's comments suggest they will keep coming to Switch 2.

Bihldorff said he expects the fan reaction to a new Ocarina of Time remake to be big, and he pointed out that many players have never played the original. Bihldorff said:

new games and remakes both have a place in the Nintendo stable, of equal importance to be honest.

For players who missed the first version, the remake will be a new experience, and Bihldorff said he can't wait for them to play it.
