Nintendo Announces Replacement For Cancelled Kirby Air Riders Halloween Event

Nintendo has announced a replacement for the Kirby Air Riders Halloween event it cancelled earlier. The new event starts tomorrow.

The earlier Halloween event was cancelled after a freezing problem came up during play. Nintendo Cancels Kirby Air Riders Halloween Event covers that decision.

The replacement uses the rules from "Shadow Star's Revenge." Participation rewards stay the same, including the Ghost headwear. Event Points reset to 0, but each match now earns more points than usual, so it's easier to collect every reward. Nintendo has again apologised for the inconvenience. You can take part in the replacement event until November 9, 2026. Kirby and the World Beyond launches for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
