Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake Developed By Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 3

Nintendo has revealed which team developed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for Nintendo Switch 2. The details came out in a new Ask the Developers segment.

The team behind the remake is Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 3, the studio that also makes the mainline 3D Zelda games. Earlier this year we reported on why Nintendo chose to remake the game for Switch 2 in the first place, in Nintendo Explains Why It Remade Zelda: Ocarina Of Time For Switch 2.

The remake is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on November 2, 2026. Because the studio that made this game is also the one behind the mainline 3D entries, it reportedly means the next mainline Zelda game is still a long way off.
