Gunboat God Coming To Nintendo Switch On November 17
Fireshine Games and Janson Rad have announced that Gunboat God is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 17, 2026.
Gunboat God is a 2D side-scrolling shoot 'em up with action elements. You fight to get back to the Citadel in the sky, shooting, dodging and taking on plenty of enemies along the way.
The game is a chaotic shoot 'em up with a range of guns and special moves. You can expand and upgrade your artillery in several ways, including bigger explosions and harder-hitting shots. Boss battles are multi-phase and test your surfing, shooting and smashing skills.
There are over 200 levels and more than 20 mission types, with 70 enemy types and eight guns to master. You can also transform your gunboat to dive deeper or fly higher, and you're joined by Yeti, a crocodile mechanic who helps you upgrade your ride. The game supports two-player local co-op. The game will be sold digitally for $12.99. A trailer has also been released.
