Joe & Mac Retro Collection Launches On Switch 2 And Switch

The Joe & Mac Retro Collection has launched on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, and a launch trailer is now out to show it off.

The collection brings three games from the SNES era together in one package. Each one is a stone-age adventure in the Joe & Mac series.

The first game is Joe & Mac Caveman Ninja, the original arcade hit that started the series. You rescue the village's women from a gang of Neanderthals and face deadly dinos along the way.

Congo's Caper is a wacky spin-off built around high-flying action and mischievous monkeys. It's a lighter, more playful take on the same prehistoric world.

The third game is Joe & Mac Lost in the Tropics, a sequel where the heroes get new weapons, meet new enemies and have to defend the Tiki Village.

This is the game that started it all, first released in the arcade. You play as a caveman who has to rescue the village's women from Neanderthals and fight off dinosaurs.

Congo's Caper

A spin-off with a lot of jumping and monkey trouble. It keeps the same prehistoric setting but changes the tone to something more chaotic. The sequel gives the heroes new weapons and enemies, with the Tiki Village as the thing to protect.

The collection also adds some new features. You can rewind after a mistake, save at any point, turn on a CRT filter for an old-school look, choose custom frames, and play a Boss Rush mode that pits you against bosses from all three games one after another.
