Nintendo Switch Online Adds Dr. Mario, Panel De Pon Icons

Nintendo Switch Online members can now get a new set of retro icons, including designs for Dr. Mario and Panel de Pon.

These are "play to redeem" icons, so they have to be unlocked first by launching the matching games in Nintendo Classics.

Panel de Pon's icons unlock through the SNES app. Dr. Mario's icons are in the GBA app, and you'll need to be on the Expansion Pack tier of Nintendo Switch Online to reach that one. Each game has seven character icons. Each design costs 10 Platinum Points to redeem.

The icons will be available on Nintendo Switch Online until November 30, 2026. After that, new titles will take their place.
