Grime 2 Coming To Nintendo Switch 2 And Switch
Grime 2 is coming to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, according to listings on the eShop. The release date is November 27, 2026.
Grime 2 is the sequel to the 2021 action adventure Metroidvania, which came to the original Nintendo Switch. It's a new story set in another world, with new surreal environments.
The sequel has tighter, more intense combat. You play as a Formless, an art mimic that absorbs creatures and summons molds in their shape. You can throw enemies, fire projectiles, stun foes, and turn into summons using those molds. Environments can also be used to damage enemies, so keep an eye out for hazards that can hurt you too.
You can parry enemy attacks or grasp and absorb them with hand-tendrils. The world is made of painted nails and giant vases, and each area has its own civilization, culture and characters. You can customise your playstyle with over 30 weapons, 60 armours and 12 abilities. This one will be distributed as a digital download.
