Damon And Baby Coming To Switch 2, Physical Switch Version Planned
Arc System Works has announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Damon and Baby, and it will be a free upgrade for anyone who owns the Nintendo Switch version.
The game has also received support in the form of the "Rise of the Oracle" update, and a physical Nintendo Switch version is planned.
The physical Switch version will be sold on February 18, 2027. The "Rise of the Oracle" update arrives on the same day, and the physical copy will include the update on the cartridge.
The packaged version includes the main story along with the extra story "Rise of the Oracle." The update adds a new battle against an enemy in the Japanese-style otherworld of Yomotsu-Hirasaka.
The new story begins when Damon and his companions, who had been enjoying a brief period of calm, receive an urgent plea to save someone. Damon steps through a mysterious door to protect his family.
Yomotsu-Hirasaka
Beyond the door is an otherworldly realm inspired by the Orient, with autumn leaves and the scent of sweet osmanthus. A demon taking the form of Japanese folklore monsters stands in your way, along with barriers tied to Mars, Mercury and Jupiter.
The battle is a Japanese-style fantasy fight. You gather the Mirror of Eight Palms, the Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven and the Eight-Slope Jewel, then face a ritual that breaks the rules of the universe.
Yugeno Mikoto
Mikoto, also called Mei, is an apprentice Onmyoji, or exorcist, who supports Damon on his journey.
Izuna is a mysterious being, distinct from demons and angels, and Mikoto's mentor. The two are seeking the Three Sacred Treasures to escape Yomotsu-Hirasaka, the slope to the underworld. Gedomaru is Mikoto's servant. He gives useful items in exchange for MANA.
