Sakurai Says Work Is Coming In But Retirement Is On His Mind

He told Famitsu that he is in a fairly upbeat place for the moment, because there is demand for his work.

He has said that he will consider retiring if either of two things falls apart: whether there is still demand for his work, or whether he can meet that demand. He says his situation is very unfortunate but that he is still able to work very hard.

He also said he is noticing decline in various parts of his body, and that his eyes tire easily. For now, the only question he sees is when his spirit will break, though he does not think it is okay to keep going like this indefinitely, because people have to change stages.
