EDGE #430 Review Scores Include Castlevania: Belmont's Curse And Final Fantasy Resonance

The latest EDGE review scores for issue #430, the Christmas 2026 issue, are out. Castlevania: Belmont's Curse received a 7, and Final Fantasy Resonance received a 6, among thirteen games reviewed.

The full list has Ace Combat 8 at 8, Gears of War: E-Day at 8, Order of the Sinking Star at 9, and Star Wars: Galactic Racer at 9. Minecraft Dungeons 2 scored 5, and Valor Mortis scored 6.

The reviewer says Castlevania: Belmont's Curse has issues that are hard to forgive for much of its length, though it still makes a positive mark on the series. Of Final Fantasy Resonance, the review says it is held back by the lack of a convincing throughline, though the HD-2D style is a good fit for the series.
