Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos Remaster Launches On Nintendo Switch

Argonaut Games has released the launch trailer for Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos, a remaster of the 3D platformer that is now out on Nintendo Switch.

The original game came out years ago and follows Croc as he sets out to find his missing parents. This remaster adds updated visuals and a range of quality-of-life improvements.

In the game, Croc travels through Gobbo villages, tackles new challenges and rescues imprisoned Gobbos. He faces a group of evil Guardians along the way, including Flavio the Thermal Fish, Venus Fly Von-Trappe and Soveena the Squid, whose love of Ginger Soda makes her a real threat. Croc keeps all of his classic moves and can now triple jump for extra height. He also rides minecarts, races cars and speedboats, glides on a hang glider and flies a wooden airplane.

The remaster also includes the Croc2pedia, an in-game digital museum. It holds never-before-seen development materials, cut content and the 90-minute Croc2mentary, which has interviews with the original and remaster teams.

The game is out now on Nintendo Switch, and Croc 1 and 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Editions are in the works.
