Zelda: Ocarina of Time Gets ESRB Rating Page With New Details

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has published a rating page for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and it includes new details about combat and game mechanics.

The listing gives the game an E10+ rating for Everyone 10+, with Animated Blood and Fantasy Violence noted as the reasons.

The ESRB describes the game as an adventure in which you play a hero on a quest to defeat evil and save the fantasy realm of Hyrule. You explore from a third-person view, talk to characters, solve puzzles and fight creatures such as bat-like, spider-like and chicken-like enemies, along with guards. You attack with swords, shields, arrows and magic spells, and battles come with impact sounds, colourful light effects and cries of pain.

Some enemies may show a green or purple blood effect when they are defeated. Some areas also contain larger bosses that take longer fights to defeat.
