Modern Warfare 4 On Switch 2 Has Input Lag Slower Than PS5

Digital Foundry has reviewed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Nintendo Switch 2 and found that the game has an input lag issue.

The publication was impressed overall with the game's optimisation, and it found that performance stays solid once gameplay starts. It still has a problem with responsiveness. In multiplayer, input lag measured 81ms docked and 100ms in portable mode, which varied from 83ms to 125ms. On PS5 at 60Hz the figure was 49ms. Digital Foundry says that makes Switch 2 players face a competitive disadvantage, especially in portable mode.

The testing used wireless Switch 2 Pro Controllers and Sony DualSense controllers. Hopefully this can eventually be fixed with a software update.
