Minecraft Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Trailer Released

Mojang Studios has released a new launch trailer for Minecraft on Nintendo Switch 2. The dedicated version for the console is available from today.

Minecraft is a sandbox game where you can build anything you can imagine, uncover mysteries, and face challenging foes in an infinite world that is different in every playthrough.

The Switch 2 version supports Vibrant Visuals, which adds a modern graphics pipeline with improved lighting and shadow effects. Sunrises look more vivid, water reflects light, and forests become shaded. Worlds from Nintendo Switch can be carried over, so you can pick up right where you left off.

The Super Mario Mash-Up Pack is available with Vibrant Visuals enabled. It includes a custom Mario-themed world, 15 tracks, and 40 player skins inspired by the Super Mario series.

Multiplayer works from the same couch in split screen or with friends across cross-platform play. You can also join community servers or create a private server for up to 10 friends with Realms Plus. Remember that there is a free limited time upgrade from Nintendo Switch to Switch 2.
