World Of Horror Gets 1.2 "As Below So Above" Update In 2027
World of Horror is getting its largest update yet, version 1.2 called "As Below So Above". Nintendo Switch players will be able to get it for free in 2027.
The update adds 20 percent more content, including new events, enemies, mysteries, characters, items, spells, curses and injuries. It also brings quality-of-life features and bug fixes.
Two new manifestations of the Old Gods appear. Iky-Yosis, The First Nightmare, sleeps beneath the mountains, and each ritual to wake him changes the world above and brings strange weather. The War For Shiokawa sees four cults summon their eldritch masters at the same time. Three new playable characters join, including Kiriko, a tarotist, and Satoshi, a young hiker. A new Scenario Mode adds stories set before the main game, including Forest of Fear / Tapes of Tragedy, which follows Makoto, an AV club member making a documentary.
The game is currently available on the Nintendo eShop.
