Walmart Makes Amends For Zelda Switch 2 Console Cancellations

Walmart has offered to make amends after cancelling some orders for the Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 console. The cancellations came the day before the console's release, after the retailer took more pre-orders than it had stock for.

Walmart cancelled a number of orders on Wednesday, and many customers were disappointed. Earlier, we reported on the cancellations ahead of the system's release.

Customers whose pre-orders were cancelled can reorder the console within the next 48 hours. Some customers are also reporting that they received a $519 Walmart gift card for the inconvenience, which would make the console effectively free for them.
