The Thaumaturge Coming To Nintendo Switch On November 11
11 Bit Studios and Fool's Theory will bring The Thaumaturge to Nintendo Switch on November 11, 2026, according to a Nintendo eShop listing. The character-driven RPG, set in 1905 Warsaw, first came out in 2024.
This is a Nintendo Switch 1 release, and it also works on Switch 2 through backwards compatibility. The game normally costs $34.99, and pre-ordering saves you 30 percent.
The game follows Wiktor Szulski, a thaumaturge who can read people's emotions, desires and secrets, though his pride can lead to trouble. You summon folklore-inspired salutors to manipulate foes and fight in turn-based combat, and you meet historical figures such as Rasputin and Tsar Nicholas II along the way. 11 Bit Studios has also just published Frostpunk on Nintendo Switch.
