Pokemon UNITE Ending Service On March 27
Pokemon UNITE is ending service on March 27, 2027, on both mobile and Nintendo Switch. The game first launched in July 2021, so it will have run for just over five years.
Once service ends, you can no longer buy Aeos gems, and any active subscriptions will stop. Before the shutdown, the game will run a special event starting on November 12. During the event you can earn Unite Coins, which can be swapped for in-game items and cosmetics.
After the shutdown, online matches will no longer be playable. A new library feature will still let you look at your play stats, Pokemon, achievements and the cosmetics you earned and used over the years. Practice mode will also remain available. The news was posted on the official Pokemon UNITE website.
