Shenmue 3 Enhanced Delayed, Statement Released
Shenmue 3 Enhanced has been delayed, so it won't release this year as originally planned.
The game was originally set to launch sometime this year. With only a couple of months left in the year, the delay is not a big surprise. The game is now on track for early 2027.
ININ has released a statement about the delay. The company says it knows fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to see Ryo on several modern consoles for the first time. Development is taking time to get everything right, and the team is making good progress while finalising the last details.
We'll have more details to share with you soon and are looking forward to this release in early 2027!
We last heard about the title back in May. That's when ININ shared frame rate and resolution details for Shenmue 3 Enhanced on Nintendo Switch 2.
