Monolith Soft Details Its Role In Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake
Monolith Soft has confirmed that it worked on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for Nintendo Switch 2. The company shared the news on social media.
The remake has been a Nintendo-led project for a while, and rumours had pointed to Monolith Soft as the lead developer. Those reports were mostly wrong. Nintendo's own Production Group No. 3 handled most of the work.
Monolith Soft says its contribution was partial, covering parts of the game design, programming and graphics under contract. The company is credited in the special thanks section of the game's credits rather than in the main development list.

Developers also shared comments this week that explain why Nintendo chose to make the remake. Monolith Soft said:
handled partial contract development of the game design, programming, and graphics.
The full list of voice actors for every language has also been published. The game is out worldwide on November 5.
