Ghost Haunting Coming To Switch 2 And Switch In 2027

Daedalic Entertainment and Three Headed Monkey Studios have announced that Ghost Haunting is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The game launches in 2027.

Ghost Haunting is a classic 2D point-and-click adventure. The story follows Gigi, a young girl who learns that her grumpy grandpa Giovanni was once a famous ghost hunter. She decides to bring her grandmother back from the dead.

The game uses a pixel art style that is meant to call back to the adventure games of the 90s. You play by pointing and clicking, and modern conveniences such as a hint system, fast travel and a hotspot highlight function are included. The developers also promise a "not-getting-stuck guarantee" to reduce frustration, though they note it comes with an asterisk.

The story is aimed at a light, warm-hearted tone and includes a mix of odd characters, such as zombies, deathstyle coaches and an Invisible Olympic Committee. Gigi is joined by a pumpkin-demon sidekick named Baron Butternut. The publishers have released an official trailer, and Ghost Haunting will arrive on both consoles in 2027.
