Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Announces 10th Anniversary Update
Bandai Namco has announced a 10th anniversary update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, due to go live on October 27, 2026.
The game has been out for a decade, and this update marks that milestone with an event and new rewards for players who return.
The update is led by the Final Festival of Universes, which starts on October 30. During the event, hard-to-find items come back, and you can earn 25 times more Star Coins than usual, which makes trading them in for rewards much quicker.
You can also raise your camaraderie level with Trunks, The Supreme Kai of Time, or Fu, which unlocks special illustrations. Taking part in the festival can earn you a special Gi and a commemorative medal. Owning either one lets you unlock special items in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 once you link your Bandai Namco ID, and that game arrives in 2027.
Separately, a free update on October 27 adds new login bonus rewards and special costumes. It also updates the Gallery of Time, which you can unlock by buying the Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC.
Future Saga Chapter 4 was the last DLC released for the game. Xenoverse 2 is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
