A Snail's Tale Planned For Nintendo Switch
Retreaux Games has announced that A Snail's Tale is coming to Nintendo Switch, with a release date of November 11, 2026.
A Snail's Tale is a retro-inspired, turn-based RPG. It is built around classic 90s-style combat, with cozy gameplay, quirky characters and absurd comedy.
The game follows Samson Spligglebarp, an aspiring warrior pulled into King Phillippe's strange problem: an immortal snail that will never stop chasing him. Samson travels through a mysterious fantasy world full of eccentric characters and unconventional foes.
You can pick one of five classes, including the fish-wielding Codwalloper, the enemy-cooking Souschef and the oil-selling Oilist. Battles use a ZEST meter, which you charge to give your characters temporary boosts. Between fights there are idle quests, fishing and dojo battle gauntlets to keep you busy. The game will be available digitally for $12.99.
