Aonuma Very Nervous About Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake

Eiji Aonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda series, has said he is nervous about how the Ocarina of Time remake will be received.

The original Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 is highly regarded, so the remake carries a lot of expectation with it.

Aonuma said he is nervous about the release because he does not yet know how the game will turn out, and he admitted he can't stop thinking about it. He credited the younger members of the team with working out how to adapt the game in the best possible way and make it fun once players have the controls in their hands.

He also spoke about the future of the series. Aonuma said he is very interested to see what the younger staff will imagine for future Zelda titles, and that he is extremely happy to offer his guidance so they can think together about the next game. The remake is scheduled for release on October 29, 2026.
