Wild Blue Skies Coming To Nintendo Switch [Update: Out Now]

Chuhai Labs and Balor Games are bringing Wild Blue Skies to Nintendo Switch, and the game is now out as a digital download.

The game is a modern take on classic on-rails action games, the kind of flight shooter Star Fox fans will recognise. It was first announced on August 6, when the two studios said it would launch on Switch this fall.

The game is fully optimised for Switch. You fly as Bowie Stray and the Blue Bombers across oceans, desert ridges and caves, fighting waves of enemies while pushing back Grimclaw's forces. Its controls are easy to pick up, the visuals have a hand-crafted, anime-style look, and the branching paths and missions give each flight a different route. The game is sold as a digital download for $14.99.

A launch trailer is available on the official channels, and you can watch it to see the game in action.
