Bakudo Announced For Nintendo Switch 2
Shueisha Games has confirmed that Bakudo is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, and the project is planned for 2027.
Bakudo is a sci-fi school drama that mixes ball-sport combat with boss-rush action. You play Yuria, who has ten days to take down the Stellar Eight, the top-ranked students at Soliris Academy.
The fights are real-time and built around throwing a ball in different ways. You watch how each boss moves, look for openings, and hit them when the moment is right. Each of the Stellar Eight uses a different fighting style, so the battles don't feel the same.
Yuria enrolled at the academy to follow a clue about her missing father. She is joined by her partner Evie, an upperclassman and inventor, while Aria, the strongest student there, sets the ten-day challenge.
Yuria
Yuria is a new student in the Coreball Department. She is quick to help anyone in trouble, even when she has not decided what to do yet.
Evie
Evie is an upperclassman in the Support Department and a skilled inventor. She is Yuria's partner, and she teases her a lot, but she is dependable when it matters.
Aria
Aria is the top-ranked member of the Stellar Eight. She is calm and says little, and she is the one who sets Yuria the ten-day trial.
