Everything Is Crab Coming To Switch 2, Switch
Everything is Crab is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, with a release date of January 26, 2027. The news was shared during the latest Indie World Showcase.
Everything is Crab is an animal evolutionary roguelite. You fight, befriend or evade strange creatures, and you build your own life form from more than 140 evolutions and specializations as you go.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features enhanced performance and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. Those are the changes the Switch 2 version brings over the standard release.
The game is set in a living ecosystem, and the developer describes it as a cute, challenging and highly replayable action roguelite. Each run, you choose animal-inspired evolutions that shape your creature both in how it plays and how it looks. The aim is to avoid ending up as a crab, which every organism is said to eventually become, and to survive on your own evolutionary path instead.
Over 125 abilities can be combined into many different builds, from a sneaky trickster to a predator or a leader. The world includes four biomes, a day and night cycle, a range of bosses that may or may not appear in each run, and an endless mode unlocked by surviving the apocalypse.
