Anomalith Launch Trailer – New Survival Shooter Hits Nintendo Switch 2
FuRyu and Winning Entertainment Group have released a launch trailer for Anomalith, and the third-person survival shooter is now available on Nintendo Switch 2.
The game is a third-person survival shooter that blends survival horror with the strange, unsettling style of anomaly horror stories.
The story is set in the year 19, when anomalies called Otherworlds start appearing without warning. The government's Danger Zone Countermeasures Office has not been able to stop them or find their source. You play as investigator Reona Minazuki, who wakes from a ten-year sleep inside an anomaly called the Sarcophagus with a strong sensitivity to the Otherworlds.
Combat is third-person gunplay, and stunned enemies can be finished off with melee attacks. Reona can also gain active and passive abilities from the anomalies through the Demi-Humanization System. The Otherworlds include reality-bending spaces, such as an apartment with inverted gravity and a train that never ends, so you'll need to manage your inventory and stay aware of your surroundings.
Weapons, attachments, outfits and artifacts can be customised, and Reona has more than 300 customisable items across nine parts of her outfit. Between missions you return to a home base, meet the cast, and unlock upgrades. You can also collect more than 200 investigation reports about the anomalies.
Anomalith was published by FuRyu and developed by Winning Entertainment Group, formerly Natsume Atari. Scenario lead Romeo Tanaka, character designer MON and composer Yuka Kitamura worked on the project. The launch trailer is available to watch on the page.
