Witchbrook Gets Nintendo Switch 2 And Switch Release Date
Witchbrook now has a release date on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. Chucklefish and Robotality have confirmed it will launch on January 28, 2027.
The project has been in development for about a decade. It was most recently planned for Winter 2025 before being pushed back to 2026.
Witchbrook is a witch life-sim set in Mossport, a seaside town where Witchbrook College welcomes aspiring witches. The town has its own daily routines, with townsfolk working, drinking at the pub, studying in the library and joining seasonal events, and the scenery changes through the school year.
You attend classes, finish assignments and learn spellcraft, brewing potions and taking part in rituals. Outside of study you can make friends, pursue romance, decorate your cottage and garden, run a business, and shop or explore the town. Up to four players can play together in online co-op.
Witchbrook was originally titled Spellbound. Check out the latest trailer, which was featured in Nintendo's latest Indie World Showcase.
