Threads Of Time Confirmed For Switch 2 And Switch

Balor Games and Riyo Games have confirmed that Threads of Time is coming to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

The title arrives in 2027, and the two companies made the announcement today. Threads of Time is a time-travelling RPG that takes you from an age of dinosaurs to a far-off future and some alternate realms in between. You recruit characters from different eras into one party, and you follow a sinister plot that runs through the whole timeline.

Combat is turn-based, and you can link attacks together and use team combos to deal heavy damage. The game is built in Unreal Engine 5 but keeps the look of hand-crafted 2D pixel art, so it feels like a classic RPG with modern visuals.
