Smalland 2: Lost Realms Announced For Switch 2, Now Delayed To 2027
Maximum Entertainment has announced Smalland 2: Lost Realms, a sequel to the miniature-scale open-world survival game, and it is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. The game was first set for a 2026 launch, but it has since been delayed and is now expected in 2027.
The original Smalland: Survive the Wilds landed on Switch 2 last month, so this sequel follows on from that release.
The sequel is set before the events of the first game, in a mythical era before the Giants arrived. Players take on the role of a member of the Smallfolk, travelling across the Lost Realms to uncover ancient secrets and face a dark prophecy that threatens the future of the world. You can play alone or with friends, with support for 10-player co-op.
The new game adds a crafting system, new water and climbing mechanics, and a range of environments built with Unreal Engine 5. You can also tame and bond with creatures that offer unique abilities and help you on your journey. The latest trailer is available now, so you can see the new world for yourself.
