Monster Train 2 Getting Switch 2 Version, The Punished DLC

Big Fan and Shiny Shoe have announced new DLC for Monster Train 2 called The Punished, along with a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.

Monster Train 2 is a card battle game, and the studio has now confirmed that the game has reached over one million players to date. The Punished is the last of its post-launch content updates, and earlier updates were free for all players.

The Punished DLC arrives on Nintendo Switch on November 10, 2026, and costs $7.99. It introduces a new Clan led by the playable warrior Archus, Darkness Incarnate. Archus can sacrifice cards to the Monolith to build Devotion and strengthen The Punished's units through Zeal. The more damage you inflict on The Punished, the stronger they become.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monster Train 2 arrives at the end of the year, along with The Punished. For more Switch 2 coverage, keep an eye on our site.
