Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game Update 4 And Switch 2 Release Date

Gameplay Group International and Paramount Games Studio have announced patch 4 for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, and they've shared the Nintendo Switch 2 release date.

The Avatar Legends fighting game first launched on Switch, and this patch is described as the biggest update since launch.

The patch rebuilds two fighters, Avatar State Aang and Nightmare Korra, with new attacks and super techniques. It also gives the whole game a fresh look, adds ranked play with spectating, and rebalances every character on the roster. Two stages, Avatar Road and Air Temple Island, can now be played outside Story Mode.

Single player gets Story Mode+, expanded Arcade content and beginner-friendly Lobbies. New tutorials and Combo Trials cover the basics, and difficulty settings have been added for Story Mode, along with Gallery Mode improvements.

The game is set to release on Nintendo Switch 2 tomorrow, October 29. It costs $29.99 digitally, and cross-play support is included. Owners of the Switch version will soon be eligible for a free upgrade.
